The Matariʻi website uses a minimal number of cookies, strictly necessary for it to work.

Technical cookies (exempt from consent)

  • WordPress session cookies — used only when you log in to the administration area. Duration: until you close your browser.
  • Language (pll_language) — remembers the language in which you browse the website (French or English). Duration: 1 year.
  • Audience measurement opt-out (mtm_consent_removed) — set only if you opt out of audience measurement, to remember that choice. Duration: 30 years, or until you clear your browser’s cookies.

These cookies do not require your consent because they are strictly necessary to provide the service you explicitly request (Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act).

Third-party cookies

When you watch a YouTube video embedded on the website (Media library, featured video), YouTube may set its own cookies on your device. We use the youtube-nocookie.com option to limit this tracking, but cookies may remain after playback.
