Night of Museums — Ro’o-nui-te-ao

For the Night of Museums — Ro’o-nui-te-ao, Te Fare Iamanaha – Museum of Tahiti and Her Islands welcomes the public for an evening devoted to Polynesian cultural heritage.

The event is part of the Matari’i i raro 2026 celebrations and extends the May 19–23 programme with an exceptional late-night opening of the museum — guided visits, mediation and discoveries around the collections.

Organised by Te Fare Iamanaha – Museum of Tahiti and Her Islands, with the support of the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Culture, the Haut-commissariat de la République, Air Tahiti Nui, Air Tahiti, the Friends of the Museum and FIFO.
